Comtech EF Data’s High-Power Outdoor (HPOD) Solid-State Power Amplifier (SSPA) (Figure 1-1)

delivers its rated power, guaranteed, at the 1 dB compression point, to the transmit waveguide

flange. It provides a cost effective, more reliable replacement for Traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers

(TWTA) in satellite communications.
